Database Doctor assures database integrity by allowing you to remove corrupt or unwanted fields and classes in the LANDesk® inventory database. Duplicate records can be removed from the LANDesk® database as well. Once removed, data integrity rules can be scheduled to assure ongoing protection from data corruption. Through our powerful new database locking capability, we can now virtually guarantee an end to LANDesk® database corruption.

Database Doctor also provides an important tool for upgrading or restoring your LANDesk® core server. You can export ALL your key data such as inventory records, scheduler tables, and application policy information. After your upgrade or rebuild, you can easily re-import your key data. This technique of data export, server upgrade/rebuild and data re-import provides the stability of a fresh core server install with perfectly preserved data.
